Tape Tape Tape

Fregoli Presents Tape Dublin

Dublin: Smock Alley Theatre - 6th, 7th Dec

Fregoli are delighted to present Tape by Stephen Belber, a play performed by the company in their early days at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008 where it received a 5 star review. Tape centres on three former school friends who are reunited through strange circumstance in a motel room. The action occurs over one night and differing perceptions of past events are called into question. Tape tackles questions of motive, memory, truth and perception and this production will be characteristic of Fregoli’s energetic and captivating style.

Breaking News...

We are looking for new work!!!

Fregoli presents

an innovation for new and original theatrical work

We are extending an open call to theatre makers particularly those based in Galway and the West of Ireland to submit ideas or scripts for pieces that are maximum 20 minutes in length. We will then choose a number of these scripts e.g. 3-5 depending on length and bring these from the ‘page’ to the stage. This process will take place over approx. 4 months and involve mentoring, developing, devising, editing and then producing. Fregoli will provide the mentors, directors and actors. WE are looking for work that is in fitting with our ethos i.e. work that has heart and energy, that explores relevant issues but is ultimately engaging and entertaining. we will not accept pieces that are longer than 20 minutes in duration. Please email your ideas/scripts to fregolitheatre@gmail.com and title the email Fruition followed by proposed title of your piece and your name or company name e.g. Fruition Falling John Burke. Closing date is Wed Nov 30th at 6.00pm. PLease note that we may be unable to give feedback on applications due to high demand. The chosen applications will be made known before the end of the year and will be performed in the spring of 2017. Thank you, we look forward to your entries!
